What is GMC Rescue for?
It scans your store the way a Google Merchant Center reviewer does and flags what triggers a "Misrepresentation" suspension: missing required policies, inconsistent contact/identity, price mismatches between product pages and the catalog, and misleading product wording. You fix the flagged items before requesting a Google review.
Does it appeal to Google for me?
No. GMC Rescue does not connect to your Google account or submit anything to Google. It tells you whether you are ready and what to fix; you request the review in Merchant Center yourself.
How do I run a scan?
Open the app from your Shopify admin and click Scan my store. You get a readiness score, four pillar sub-scores (Policies & terms, Contact & identity, Product data & pricing, Claims & trust) and a plain-English summary of what a reviewer sees.
What does the score mean?
It is a readiness estimate, not a guarantee of reinstatement. A high score with no critical issues means the common suspension triggers are cleared. Editorial issues (promotional wording in titles) are shown separately because they rarely block reinstatement on their own.
What data does the app touch?
It reads products, store policies and page/content data (read_products, read_legal_policies, read_content, write_content). It never reads customers, orders or payment data. See the Privacy Policy.
How does billing work?
Free includes 3 full audits per month. Pro ($24.99/mo) is billed through Shopify's own billing with a 7-day free trial, so charges appear on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade, switch plans or downgrade to Free any time from the Plans card inside the app; no need to contact us or uninstall.
How do I remove my data?
Uninstall the app — we honor Shopify's app/uninstalled and shop/redact webhooks and delete your store's data. You can also request deletion at torhencompany@gmail.com.
